Who are the Festival Participants?
The participants of the Festival are considered consumers in the pan-African arts industry. These consumers are a mixture of individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, nationalities and geographic regions, who are uniquely tied together by their interest and love for the culture and spirit that is cultivated by art forms having an African origin. As a prominent subset of this industry, the African dance community in US consists of individuals of all ages from diverse national backgrounds. Historically, African dance festivals/conferences in New York have attracted enthusiasts from all over the country and a few international regions. Having already sponsored the launch of two overwhelmingly successful annual African dance festival in Boston, MA, and the 1st annual NY New Year's African Dance Festival in 2007, enthusiasm for our current festival has been building for more than a year, with attendance expected to run in the thousands!
What Does it Mean to Become a Sponsor?
Depending on your level of sponsorship, your company will be able to:

• Advertise in the festival program.
• Advertise in the concert program.
• Display promotional material at festival locations.
• Receive complimentary tickets to the concert.
• Be recognized as sponsors throughout the festival during stage and PA announcements.
How Do I Become a Sponsor?
Choose your level of sponsorship and make your payment online through Paypal. After submitting your payment, you will be given instructions on how to submit your company and ad information. Sponsorship with a Purpose...
TAZIA Inc. reserves the right to reject sponsorships and/or ads from companies which do not align with goals of TAZIA Inc., and therefore may be considered harmful to the spirit and growth of the New York New Year's African Dance Festival. Companies that have rejected ads or sponsorships will be notified and given a full refund.
